anyway, after returning from Como this morning, i thought the Corpse Flower was something he might dig, so i sent him a quick email about it with a picture i had taken. within an hour of me hitting send, he posted on the blog:

The corpse springs to life.
News Cut is a blog by Bob Collins on the MPR website, and i love it. local, regional, and national goings-on, with a twist of wry humor sprinkled in. i like it so much that when we were at the MN State Fair last year, i thought the guy working the MPR booth was Bob, and wanted to say hi but was struck by a sudden case of Shy. (turns out it wasn't him, so good thing i followed my instincts)
